Please see our Hopeful Hearts Q2 report for 2010 posted below and note the Vet. costs! More than ever before, we need your support. If you can find it in your heart (and pockets) to donate just a bit more this year, your generosity would not only be greatly appreciated but is greatly needed!
The
mission of Hopeful Hearts Rescue Inc. is to provide safe and caring
foster homes to dogs who are homeless, with a particular focus on, but
not limited to, senior and special needs dogs. Hopeful Hearts will
provide protective, stable environments, and using
a rigorous screening process, will endeavour to find and place dogs in
permanent and loving adoptive homes.
Hopeful Hearts Rescue Inc. also commits to providing
foster and adoptive families with support, education and resources to
ensure that they are responsible dog owners and that their dogs are
happy, healthy and secure. Hopeful Hearts is committed to complete transparency
and financial accountability in our dog rescue operations. We strongly
believe that it is important for our donors to know how their dollars
are spent. Please view our Quarterly Reports to learn more about us and
our work. ----------------------------------------------------------
We hope you will find these reports informative and timely. With thanks, Roz and the Board at Hopeful Hearts

Sometimes all you need is a hug ...living in a shelter can be such a scary place. It makes animals behave in ways that make others think they are not adoptable... when all they need is a hug.
Please watch this video to understand how simple TLC can be all that is needed to reassure an animal that it's going to be okay...... Edie came within an hour of being euthanized.
One hug from a devoted animal lover changed her life forever. Take a moment to watch EDIE!!
